Midland Arts Association Annual Juried Show

Annual juried show of works by artists from Midland and Permian Basin.
Annual Student Art Exhibit

Annual show and awards ceremony for artwork created by students in Midland County public and private schools. Organized and implemented by the Museum of the Southwest in cooperation with MISD and private and home school art educators.

SeptemberFest 2010
The oldest arts and crafts festival in West Texas, SeptemberFest is held each year after Labor Day. The Preview Party on Friday evening allows patrons the first glimpse of the artists' works and a chance to be the first buyers.
Christmas at the Mansion
November 23 - December 30, 2010
The Museum of the Southwest's annual holiday celebration of family and treasured memories. The Museum will feature holiday decor throughout each room, designer trees, teas, lunches, choirs, special exhibits, Santa Claus, and more. The Southwest Express will honor and celebrate our collective memories of Midland in days gone by as several model trains make the rounds on a custom-designed 200 sq. foot layout.
