featuring Ty England and Jimmie Van Zant

Co-Sponsor of Midland City Limits 2009
Jimmie Van Zant (Southern Rock)
Just like Johnny, Donnie or the late great Ronnie Van Zant of Lynyrd Skynyrd, you just know that if Jimmie is singing’, preaching’ and laying’ down the law, Southern Rock Music is alive and well.
Now with a band that is tighter than a pickle jar, the Van Zant band is playing like they are on a mission. Make sure you get to the show and feel the energy they will give you the moment they come on stage. Hang on to your hat and let’s take a ride with Jimmie Van Zant and his band.
Ty England (Nashville Country)
After several years on Garth Brooks history-making tour, Ty (Garth’s college roommate) signed with RCA records and made two albums, “Ty England” and “Two Ways to Fall”. His signature top-5 hit, Should’ve Asked Her Faster remains a hotly requested number.
When he moved to Capitol Records with “Highways & Dancehalls”, produced by none other than his good friend Garth Brooks, noted music critic Rich Kienzle called the record “magnificent.” This is top shelf country music at its finest. Produced by Promising Projects, Midland TX
