Wish Goes Home: Illustrated By Nutsa Gogaladze

Nutsa Gogaladze is a 24-year-old self- taught artist based in Tbilisi. While her professional title is a financier, nowadays she experiments with graphic design and printmaking.

She has had a desire to paint since childhood, but she began to develop a serious interest in art in 2017. Working in acrylic on canvas, cardboard, and paper Nutsa creates compositions of muted color forms.

In this exhibition, Gogaladze’s soft and colorful pastels on paper accompany the Museum of the Southwest’s first children’s novel. The collection of works illustrates a story of change and growth told from the eyes of a young prairie dog named Wish.

The new publication can be purchased in the Museum’s gift shop.
