This exhibition explores the importance of scale for an artist in relation to their work with pieces from the

Museum of the Southwest permanent collection and the Ellen Noel Art Museum.

The juxtaposition of canvases that cover entire walls with small woodblock prints, or large sculptures with

bronze castings and tiny pieces of pottery, invites viewers to consider the nuances of varying mediums and sizes,

and why an artist would prefer one over.
