About the Event

Introducing Pages with Purpose: A Tiny Readers Workshop—a new once-per-month early literacy experience connecting stories, science, and animals from our current exhibit, Survival of the Slowest.

𝐋𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟖 𝐚𝐭 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐚𝐦 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐡𝐚𝐦 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦.

Our first workshop features an original story, Maleficent the Beautiful Bullfrog, inspired by a special star from the Survival of the Slowest exhibit. The story gently introduces themes of adaptation, patience, and noticing details others might miss. Each participating family will receive a printed story booklet to take home, along with a simple activity pack to extend the fun!

 Workshop details:

• Saturday, February 28 at 11:00 am

• Ages 2–5 with caregivers
