"If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" tells the story of a boy who gives a cookie to a hungry mouse, which then leads to a chain reaction of requests from the mouse, like needing milk to drink with the cookie, a straw to drink it with, a mirror to check for a milk mustache, and so on, resulting in a continuous cycle of seemingly endless demands as the mouse keeps finding new things he needs, ultimately ending with him wanting another cookie.
